I heard they were the greatest thing ever, so I figured why not. My woman just complained the whole time doing it. The steering wheel is in the way, its not comfortable leaning over the console, my hands are getting tired, blah blah blah. So, I just put the flashlight on the floor and installed it by myself. The seats feel like different seats. They actually support my legs. It's a night and day difference. Should have got a set 2 years ago. Now to work on the wife for a propper seat jacker...

It didn’t end up fitting me well, but they’re still on the passenger side. My wife loves them. She removed her seat cushion after they went in. I sold my driver sides to a forum member.

Yeah, I was torn for like a few weeks. “Should I take them out, are they better really?” , etc. Now that I’ve adjusted to them I love ‘em. Still overpriced for what they are though.

Maybe I should have kept them. I don’t think they’re overpriced though. I’d like the seats to be VERY well secured in case of an accident.

I was suggesting that they’re great, and are not overpriced.

For some of us still on the fence what made such a difference? How tall are you?

I'm 6'3" and not sure having an additional 1 1/2 inch increase would entirely help the seat being more comfortable.

Thanks

I am 6'0. I also had a crew cab Ram, before the Gladiator. It's seats were super comfortable. I got the Desert does it jackers. You are right though, 6'3 it might not make a huge difference.

I was on the fence about getting a pair so yesterday I did a test run with washers. I put six 3/8” washers on each front post (wrapped them in electrical tape to keep them together during the install) turned out to be about 1/2” thick. Took about ten minutes to do. Happy I did as I like the angle of the seat better now. I’m still on the fence about the seat jackets because it might be too much for me. However I’m 5’9” with little baby legs.

I am pretty cheep so I did the washers too, at least now I don't feel like I am leaning forward. I may end up getting them anyway but the washers are working pretty well for now.

I am also 5'9" with shorter legs. I put the short seat jackers in gladiator. Doesn't work for me, my legs now kind of dangle, hard to explain. I just ordered the .5" seat slammers, my thought is lower the back .5" or 1" and I will have more adjustment because I can lift the back with that lever...
