My jeep was only moved from the service bay to the parking lot "not knowing" that it had 37" tires and 5.13 gears so there wasn't enough time driven to cause any harm.So no damage to the diff from the computer thinking you were on stock gears? Reason I ask is I could swear I saw a post claiming their diffs blew in that exact scenario. Did you unmarry or simply remove?
Personally I unmarried my tazer because I had this paranoid feeling that the dealership techs would be able to tell that I use one based on something they could see in the JT's computer but it is my understanding that you can simply pull it out.
Dealerships easily have the ability to program tire size and gear ratio and I'm betting that if you tell the service advisor up-front that a shop installed your tires and gears and re-calibrated your JT they would plug in the right tire size and gear ratio after a software update.
Depends on what kind of mood they are in I suppose.
