Just plastidip the whole thing and be done with it. It’ll look good.
I did the plasti dip route first before buying the Mopar satin grille and I wouldn’t recommend it. As soon as you touch mud of any kind it basically stains the plasti dip, and gives it a black-brown appearance. No matter how much you wash or scrub it the brown never comes out.

Thank you folks, I took the measure before buying it and both of them are in the same range in term of the slotted part (about 3 1/2 inches). I have not mentionned it but I have the insert too, from the original 4xe and they look exactly the same as mine.

So the exact questions are :

- does it fit straight on ?
- could I buy just the 3 parts, in Sting Grey ?
- And to push my luck, does someone have the part number for the 3 bottom part ?
- Should I have them painted in String Grey? That will be probably cheap to paint

If you already have the mesh. You can just screw that in to place on the grille and then install the grille on the Jeep. The pushpin holes on the top and the metal pressure clips on the bottom are all identical to your stock sport grille. Mopar only sells them in satin black so no matter what, you’d have to have them painted to match your Jeeps color.

Edit: Outside part number 6CG98TZZAA, center piece part number 6BY76TZZAA

Hello everyone !

My ride is a 2021 Jeep Gladiator sport, with the max tow package in sting gray.

when ordering I forgot 1 or 2 things among the proximity keyless entry ans the front black grill.

So I found someone selling a brand new wrangler 4xe black and silver front grilland bought it for a reasonable price.

I started the install only to find out tha my grill is fully molded and the 4xe one is split in parts with the botton part removable. I was hoping to swap the bottom part but as is not possible, is there a place that sold those bottom parts already painted in sting gray?

anyone have other options to work with ?

thanks in advance ! I’ll post pics later to show the difference
FYI or not. Rob’s channel has covered this and it may be of helpful. He posted a couple other videos Re: the grill prior to this one also.

I bought the ready to paint trim pieces from Quadratec and painted them myself with the Mopar spray can touch up paint. It depends on how picky you are. It looks really good but it's not quite OEM quality close up. Good enough for me though. Repainted the bumper trim inserts the same way.

The lower trim pieces paint matched look so good, especially behind a winch/loop. I'll eventually do that with mine as I have a standard sport one-piece grill.

Temporary thread hijack. Apologies to the OP. @darksidedesign, are you still going to Arch Canyon? I’m looking forward to it.

Back in the day, people were painting their TJ grills with bedliner paint with good results. Are all JT grills plastic? That could make a difference.
