The hybrids do make more sense, but this was back when capacity was limited and hybrids were short range. My Leaf has a 85 mile range, under ideal conditions. I don't drive it as much, after trading the full size truck for the Jeep. I'll probably be driving it more, now that fuel prices are higher.OK. I was thinking of the factory-built trailers that Toyota made, rather than an end-user product.
I think a plug-in hybrid would make more sense than a full EV with a pusher trailer, though.
