i'm reminded again that noises bounce around a lot before they hit your ear and don't always come from where they sound like they are coming from. The "bell" noise i was hearing really sounded like it was coming from front right. It really only happened when the right front suspension was jostled (minor noise when the right rear was jostled a LOT).

But my u-joints had zero play, and my wheels didn't move in unexpected ways and all my suspension bolts were tight.

So i went inside the cab to look for loose stuff... my bottle jack buddy was lightly tapping my bottle jack under the rear passenger's side seat.

When i hit bumps, or change gears I get a noise that sounds like a bell jingle or ting. It was relatively faint, but getting louder. I'm assuming it has some suspension involvement, but never heard anything like this from any suspension component before. Don't want to take it to dealer immediately because it's so faint I'm 99% sure i'm going to have to deal with "cannot replicate" BS so I wanted to try and find the troubled component myself first.

gladiator mojave manual 2022 2k miles.

Looked around online for similar noise complaints from other vehicles and was sent on the diagnostic path of driving the vehicle in 4wd (only went straight because only dry roads were available) to see if the noise went away. While driving the vehicle straight in 4hi did not eliminate the noise, I did start to get some vibration around 35mph which has me scared as well.

The vibration at 35 is definitely new. I had the truck out on sand this past Saturday with zero issues.

Any idea how these two could potentially be connected or if no connection what might cause one issue or the other? Pedal vibration at 35 feels a lot like the bad rear diff I had on my old solstice (though obviously the front in this case) but doesn't come with the same characteristic whine I was used to with that vehicle.
Just a fast thought before heading back out to my shop - grab each axle u-joint and try to shake or wiggle them. Check for looseness.
Grab and shake or wiggle any moving part you have access to grab - shafts, joints, differential pinions, whatever.
I'm just tossing stuff out there - stuff that you can check in minutes.
Normally if there's a FAD issue the noises change in 4 wheel drive.........

Too bad you can't find a grassy field to drive around in - even dirt, loose dirt, would help you make some maneuvers changing steering and front axle angles, hitting the brakes and so on.
