IMMO Key Programming Disable w/ HP Tuners

I am sure many have read about the RF Hub software update that your dealer can do to prevent new keys from being written to your Jeep to help alleviate theft. I just wanted you all to know that the same thing can be accomplished with HP Tuners if your already invested in their system or if you have tuning with me.

So if you already have tuning from me and you were thinking about getting the RF Update from your dealer, save yourself and trip and I can update your tune file for free.

Even if your not tuned by me but have an MPVI and an unlocked ECU, you can prevent key writes by editing your file in Editor at System>General>IMMO Key Lock and changing the scalar from disabled to enabled.

If I didn’t want to mess with anything other than this setting, for now, could you tell me what I would need? Thanks very much. I have a 2021 with an ECU that’s never been touched.

You would need all the items mentioned in my tuning guide on my tuning thread minus the paying me part. So ECU unlock, MPVI, credits, and the bypass cable.

If you don’t want to play with tuning, I believe the dealership will do this update for an hour of labor if you’re out of warranty.
