Does anyone else think incoming phone calls in the Gladiator are way loud? Connected thru bluetooth. I can't find a way to turn it down. I mean the incoming ring, not the voice.

If it's bluetooth connection, try volume on phone itself. After the talking has begun, turn up or down phone volume as needed. The bluetooth often will adapt to it's "output" setting.

Also explains why some complain about music volume being too low, while speakers are turned nearly all the way up.

Nope not loud on mine. I keep my phone ringer at about half.

I was just asking my wife about this since she has car play in here vehicle as I have the same situation. If you figure out how to lower the incoming ring without lowering the radio volume let us know. I should mention my problem is when connected to car play, not sure about BT

Thanks, I'll try lowering my phone ringer volume.

Try the + or - while the feature you want to adjust volume for is active. So adjust the ringer while its ringer before answering the call. This is just a guess as I can not try it for myself to verify.

I should clarify that I suggest you try the volume up and down on the back of the steering wheel while it is ringing to adjust the volume of the ring.

The picture I posted above was for the bluetooth speaker. My bad.

Yeah, while it's ringing you can use the knob to turn the volume down. You can do the same while in a conversation.

What pisses me off is that the system doesn't remember this setting. Each time you start the Jeep, you'll initially get that LOUD ring all over again. Very annoying.

I was thinking that was happening. Thanks for verifying.

It's too bad this seems to rely on the phone's volume because I have to keep my phone on MAX ringer volume to even hear it ring and then in the truck, WHAM, about blows my ears off. I have hearing loss and the hearing aids help but still certain tones and sounds, not so much. Ringing phones my wife has to say "your phone is ringing" and I barely heard it - maxed out. I think that's a shortcoming of phones, too - volume set to high is hardly loud at all. The tiny speakers and ringers of the phone can't put much sound out - then you get into a vehicle with megaphone speakers and wow.
They need to allow the volume to be set in the vehicle no matter what the phone is set at otherwise I'd have to turn my phone down to nothing while in the JT and then try to remember to turn it back up again when exiting.
Luckily I don't have to worry about waking anyone.........
How about a setting in uconnect screen? Should be piece of cake!
