While this may be some forbidden fruit here in the USA (chicken tax), I can't help but love this truck.

Couple things I would like Jeep to take influence for the next gen:
  • Doors - the side profile of the Gladiator would look so much more 'finished' to me if they would have squared off doors instead of just reusing the wranglers.
  • Top - An optional fixed roof 'safari' style top. As I would order the hard top anyway, and a sunroof or vented windows would get way more use then the freedom panels for me.
  • Wheels - nice factory steel wheels. Enough said.
  • Motor - BRING THE TURBO INLINE 6!
  • Bed Height - while this hurts being able to reach over for the vertically challenged, be nice to be able to get some taller standing items under a tonneau.
  • Wild card - front receiver hitch. This isn't in the press photos, but it is available from the factory for the regular Grenadier, so I am assuming it will also be for the quartermaster. A friend has this on his tundra out west, and it is so handy for a dirt bike rack or cargo tray to leave open access to the bed in certain situations. Also can have a hitch mounted winch that can be taken on or off or moved to the rear if beneficial.

Man I would love to have just a little more height to the back bed as you say so I can fit my coolers and some other items in the bed and still be able to close my cover. Its plywood rated but should also be standard cooler rated (LOL)

Of course I'd want it with a manual in Nacho, but otherwise pretty cool.
