That’s pretty interesting.

I would be pretty hard pressed to do that all in the Jeep in a day, let alone on something not fueled by the dinosaurs.

I worked with a guy who was semi-pro I think back in the day (hence why I got to know him) and he was in wicked shape even when being into his late working career. He did both endurance and mountain biking. I tried asking him once about a good bike to get out there and have some fun (and lose some weight) and he talked about things I’d never heard of relating to the sport.

Turns out, violating traffic laws and being a jerk isn’t all that cycling is about.

I said the same thing.
They have the advantage of being able to go much faster on some sections because of their narrow footprints. Uphill is just nasty.
