Please let us know what the solution ended up being, because I am seeing the same issue.
I have a short cable on order to replace the one that's in the truck. Goes from a connector above the passenger side light to the light itself. That one seems to have only three wires, while the one going to the connector (from wherever it comes from) seems to have four.

I'll report back when I get the cable and can try it out.

Great, Thank You! So, you ordered 68414409AB?

Yes. It's backordered at AllMoparParts, so just waiting for it right now. I've programmed the Halos to be on, so hopefully I have to just swap the cable. I hope it arrives before I leave for a trip to Europe. If not, it'll be June before I can report back.

I just finished this upgrade on my 23 today. No wires to run as the factory now includes those stock. So the front headlights are a piece of cake. So are the rear they take maybe 15 minutes taking your time. The fender lights on the other hand take a bit of work. It’s not hard but if your doing it the first time I would give yourself a couple of hours. You will then need Jcsan or a Tazer to update the BCM. The stock halogen lights are a joke. The OEM led are amazing.
I just bought aftermarket led foglights with rgb halo for my 2023 gladiator. It seems I need some adapter so they can plug into the harness. Do you know anything about that?

Has anyone gone through a full install of the factory OEM LED headlights only on their Gladiator with standard headlights? I am thinking of doing the upgrade but it looks significantly involved. 25 pages of instructions, removal of front grill and structure, inner fender liner, many interior components, adding new wiring to multi-connectors x2, snake wires thru firewall, RTV reseal, re-flash the computer, setup and realign new headlights.

Just curious, if someone has done this, just how everything went with them. Never thought headlights were worth anything on my '21, and they are the same in my '23, but not sure I'm up to all this on the new one....

Thx, Mark
Where did you get the instructions at to replace all of the lights?

So, to report back on this: the short harness arrived today, I've put it in immediately and it works:

And just in case you're curious, it is possible to swap the short harness without taking out the light or removing any other parts. It's a little bit of a finger breaker, but it's possible and sure beats having to take the grill off again.

Very happy with the result now.

This is the part I used:

https://www.moparfactoryparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-headlamp-wiring-68414409ab

after I made sure that four wires arrive at the connector above the passenger side headlight and only three were going from the connector to the light. The new part puts all four wires now all the way to the light.

Also, a big THANK YOU to @AllMoparParts.com for sending out the harness!

Excellent, Thank You for the confirmation! I needed to drive out to Washington State and picked up the part in Oklahoma and it has the fourth beige wire like the driver's side.

But haven't been able to get back to Florida to try it out. Cannot wait to get back and install the new LED headlamps!

Will be swapping in Mopar LEDs for my factory Halogens on my '23 JT Mojave (3.6L obviously). Benny @AllMoparParts.com or Cug, are either of you able to say whether part 68414409AB is needed only for newer Diesels to get DRLs working or is this something needed for all newer Gladiators (i.e. 3.6Ls too)? Moparfactoryparts.com has notes on this headlamp wiring that it is compatible with 3.0 TD and 6.4L only. No mention of the 3.6L there.

I can't say unfortunately. I've only researched this for the diesel.

But you might be able to check for yourself:

Are FOUR wires in the plugd that goe into your headlights? I had four going into the driver's side light and three going going to the passenger's side light. The passenger's side had a short (maybe 30cm or so) harness going from the light to the top of the grill cowl and connect there. The short harness had three wires only, the harness arriving there from the truck had four, so we deduced, that I just needed the short part replaced and that did the trick. Other than that it was simplle plug-and-play.

That is good advice, I will just take a look. I was thinking that I would only know once I dug into it but based on your other posts, sounds like I should be able to stick my hand behind the lights to see.

UPDATE: Took a look. 4 wires going into my Halogen headlight plug on both Driver and Passenger side. Think that answers it. I fear wiring so really was hoping I could do the bare minimum to get LEDs to work. Mentioning for others, I have a 2023 JTM.

I will order Mopar LEDs and report back as to whether they are plug and play (+Taser update) or require extra wiring or whatnot.

The most difficult part of our install was to get the damn OBDII plug pulled out ...
