I believe that panel splits in half to release the air bag. Not sure I'd be putting something there that might interfere with that.
So wait a minute here...

"It is not recommended for children under 13" to sit in the front passenger seat, as per the NHTSA and most car manufacturers, implies that the airbag deploys with enough force and energy to cause harm to young children. It is well documented that the force of the airbag deployment causes abrasions and burns on adults...

Yet a flimsy vinyl sticker is what's going to prevent the airbag from deploying or even interrupting the deployment?

Fascinating...

Didn't say that bag won't come out. Just saying that it might cause the plastic cover to come off in a way that it wasn't designed to.

I used the wet method. I use the spray “sticker on”. I use it for exterior and interior installs. It makes moving the decal in place easy and then activates the adhesive. Once the decal is in place I use a credit card type squeegee to work the bubbles out. Next I use a heat gun with low heat and sweeping motions left to right to set up the adhesive. Comes out perfect every time. Good luck.

There got to be a trick to it. Ask in the Decal threat, several guys have pics posted with stuff on the same area.

I'm trying to install a decal on the area above the glove box, between the two air vents. I've cleaned the area with Alcohol Wipes, but the decal will not stick, it actually just slides off. Any idea's or suggestions or does the dash come coated now with something that will prevent decals from adhering . Never had this issue/problem before
Have the decal made in a different type of material... I see purpose made decals for that location for sale all the time and they seem to stick well.
