New owner of a Sting Gray JT Rubicon and wanted to say hello. Short story, long... I owned an 88 YJ (bought used in '91) and had a lot of fun with that. I sold it in '94 due to a new commute. Since then, I've owned anything and everything except Jeeps. A few years ago, I bought my daughter a JKUR Hard Rock and suddenly, my interest in Jeeps came back. I ended up buying a Trackhawk followed by another Trackhawk (first one was bought back by FCA). I recently bought my daughter a JLUR to replace her JK and saw the Gladiator at the dealership. The hunt began. This Monday, I found what I was looking for and drove it back to LA this week. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I am replacing a 2014 Raptor with the JT. To me, it is a good replacement. Let the mods begin...
First pic is at the dealer. I had them install the Mopar 2" lift, 35" Nitto's and decided on the Mopar wheels used on the Auto Show Gladiator. I liked the look of that JT (other than the painted fenders, but that was a personal preference) and figured I would copy it. Pic 2 and 3 are during my first fill up on the way home.
Of course, on the way home, I drove through St. George, Utah, where the 4x4 winterfest was just kicking off. I couldn't stop to have some fun. Next time.
Anyhow, looking forward to learning and contributing.
