Hi everyone! I am very new to this forum, but I wanted to introduce myself before I start asking for your advice here :)
I have done some of the mods myself, but I am not very technical so I will definitely need some tricks and tricks!!

When I moved to the USA (I was born & raised in The Netherlands), I drove a Mini Cooper first. I still love those little 'go-carts,' but it's just not safe to drive one in South Florida ;-) I upgraded to a Dodge Durango, and after a couple of years, I decided to finally purchase my dream car; a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. In Europe, Jeeps are CRAZY expensive, so before purchasing one was not an option. And let's not even start about the fuel prices back home lol... you'd go broke! What I love about Jeeps is that you customize everything you want, and it's just an overall cool car.

When COVID hit, we started camping in the Jeep at state parks in here, Florida; very simple with a mattress in the back and an SUV tent. Recently, after a nice promotion at work I decided to upgrade my 2017 Wrangler to a brand new black 2021 Jeep Gladiator Sport S. It's the only truck I ever liked and the only truck I would drive myself, and now I own one and I absolutely LOVE it!! No off-roading for me, but I do love that it's such a versatile car that we can use daily and for our camping adventures! I use the Gladiator for my daily commute to work and for camping especially now it will be more comfortable with a truck tent!!

Everything is black-on-black with some orange accents as a reference to my Dutch roots! Orange is our national color.

I already did some simple modifications:
- bigger tires and spacers (kept the black stock rims, I am one of the few people that likes them, I guess)
- changed the silver bezels to black
- leather seat covers
- tinted the front windows
- black door lock covers
- bed liner and tailgate liner
- tonneau cover
- metal side steps/bars
- painted the tow hooks orange
- amber Oracle halo headlight and fog light rings
- led smoked turn signal lights

And I am currently waiting for my new ORACLE Flush Mount LED Tail Lights and matching reverse lights; due to inventory issues, I have to be patient until late October/mid-November. I will also add some custom decals on each side as a little contrast to the "all-black-everything" I have going on.

I will upload some pictures in November once everything is done... but I guess you are never done with a Jeep right?!

Nice to 'meet' you and thanks in advance for answering some of my rookie questions I am going to ask here!

Any chance you can post a picture of your stock rims with spacers? I actually thought about doing this just to get a little more aggressive look, but like my stock Willys rims. Congrats on the Gladiator, my first jeep as well and I love it!

Welcome to the best club (IMHO) in the world. Any lion emblems or just the orange accents? Love the culture in the Netherlands, and the people are just awesome and welcoming. I spent a week there a few years ago doing the Nijmegen March (while I was still serving in the Cdn Military (RCAF)anyway, welcome and hope you get the best out of your new rig.

I am happy to hear you had a great time in The Netherlands. I actually participated in the Nijmegen March myself in 2007 (4x40km), an unforgettable experience!!

Before you ask the questions, search and see if your questions have already been answered.

Drive it stock for the first few 1000 miles or months. Use it as you normally would. Take notes make a list of things you might want to add/change. The truck will tell you what it needs.
