Is ECU flash required after new ecodiesel fuel pump?

I want to do the stage 1 tune from EOC. I am in line at the dealer for a new fuel pump, about 3 months out. Does the ECU require a flash after the new pump is installed? Won't that overwrite the tune? If so, I want to wait on sending the ECU to EOC. Advice appreciated.

Just wait, get the fix . Dealer may also flash the ECU with any patches that have come along since you took delivery. Then send it off. It's a safer bet.

Just had my pump done. There is no flash involved with the recall. But if there's is an update to the ecu. They may do it.

Save the headache wait tell the new pump is installed. Eoc is the way to go awesome setup!!

I got confirmation from EOC that no flash is required after pump replacement. And they emphasized it has been confirmed with jeep. But when you have the dealer clone the spare, they should also flash any updates needed to both units. Those who report a flash with the new pump were just getting the latest update, not associated with the pump.

Having a cloned stock ecu is probably the easiest way to run a tune anyways. Removes future head aches ???
