Truck is in for warranty work and part is unavailable/back ordered without info. Dealership can't find one in the country. Hoping I get lucky on some info before picking up an aftermarket part not covered under warranty.

Wonder what changed between 2023 and 2024.

I can go on Rock Auto right now and order a Mopar 240A for my truck (2018-2023 as it is listed) (in stock), but change to a '24 and there is almost nothing.

Noticed that as well - OEM is also in stock for 2023. Aftermarket for 24+ is very limited. Not sure what they changed but probably has to do with the screen/electronics updates if I had to guess.

Mine failed, along with the bearing and shredded the belt. It's covered under warranty but...

New vehicles can be painful sometimes.

We buy them because of the security blanket of 'reliability' and a warranty, only to find out in the first few years when the warranty is good there tends to be a chronic shortage of parts and you can't get the truck fixed or wait forever to do it...
