Ok, passed on the box of Rubicon Suspension Parts. Looking on YouTube, everyone has a different favorite Lift Kit. So Confusing. Here's what I am looking for, I would like to go on a few Jeep Runs, (I live in Arizona, should be some great ones here. I've done the Tierra de Sol Fast Camel run in the So. Cal Desert in my modified CJ5, loved it) I want anywhere between a 2,5" lift up to a 3.5" lift, prefer Springs over spacers. Would like to spend less than $2,000. So, tell me what kit is your favorite kit and why tell me all the good, the bad and the ugly! You guys know you're my number one go to people, right???

I would suggest watching this 2 part video review from Trail Recon on youtube. I found the 2nd episode, you should be able to find the first that goes into all of the details of each lift. Pretty informative and useful information without a lot of fluff.

Trail Recon Lift Kit Comparison

I spent way to much time reviewing different lift kits and ended up extending my budget a bit for the Clayton Lift Overland 2.5+ with HD Springs and Fox 2.0 Shocks. The only complaint is the I am not convinced the shocks are up to the task. May swap out for Falcon 3.3 or Bilstein 5160's. We installed a mix of Teraflex/Clayton with Bilstien 5160's on my Wife's JL and it rides silky smooth.
