I was looking at a sport s today with an MSRP of $43,405 and they were asking $53,998. Other than the usual bs dealers try, they had tint as dealer added equipment but when you look at the factory sticker it clearly states it comes with tinted windows from factor. They claimed $6k in dealer enhancements and another $2k for not financing with them. The only real enhancement was a basic step rail which accounted for $2k of the $6k. Pretty ridiculous imo. I didnā€™t even bother to negotiate or mention tread lightly. I had a good idea who I was dealing with and wasn't going to waste my time.

Btw the dealer is in a tiny place in SC.
Good call. Thatā€™s crazy. I spent 52k on a 56k stickered rubicon.

I had one dealership in MA that added $995.00 to their quote for a chassis upgrade on a Rubicon. Nobody there could tell me what the entailed.

I would think with all the B.S. the Ford dealers are doing, the Bronco has the worst, but with it being so new, they probably are not pulling that data.

Just head on over to the post apocalyptic forum Bronco6g for loads of threads on this

Just paid 9% under MSRP on my Sport S... felt like I was doing something wrong!

iSeeCars has analyzed 1.2 million vehicle listings from February to March and listed which vehicles currently have the highest dealer price markups.

The Gladiator is #5 at 22.5% above MSRP.

On average, new cars are listed for 9.9% above MSRP.

There it is in black, blue and white but funny that the Gladiator is #5 and the new Bronco is #8, I think they got them backwords because any of the listings for the new Bronco are $10-20K over MSRP if you can find one actually for sale on a lot. Find it funny though, I worked with my sales rep on the JTM and ordered for $2k less than MSRP.

I wish dealers would learn that catching 10 1lb fish is the same as 1 10lb fish
The end result is the same, but the cost to get either is quite different.

The real problem is the dealers waiting for that 15lb fish to bite after throwing all the 10-12lb fish back.

Just because I did. Presented two Chysler coupons for 500 each (1000) and a firm 1500 off MSRP (48,635) then no dealer prep 250 and no dealer fee 500. Then BOA loan with 5k down at 2.09 for 60 months. Willys with Snazzberry.

I wonder if we donā€™t have enough information here. Does this take into account added aftermarket accessories. I guarantee the wrangler/gladiator platform is the most customizable vehicle on a dealers lot in which items are added too.
If I see one of those dealer added accessory stickers on any Jeep, that is an automatic no from me.
