I don't see it, but feel like they do have like kind of a retro body style to them

So I never said anything about getting in it and feeling like a 31 ford or anything about it’s steering box or engine , I said in appearance ,

I honestly felt the same as well once I 1st saw the Glad. I bought black just like Henry Ford said, “you can have any color you want so long as it’s black”!

George, I am totally with you, I have thought the exact same and your comparison is great!

I've also long thought I could see similarities in Wranglers to a Model T convertible...meaning, not identical of course not, but general basic tub, fenders, open front wheels, soft top, sometimes a spare slapped on the back haha, running boards, big round lights, upright windshield, etc. Like, at a quick glance, it's similar in basic theory.

Has anyone thought how similar in appearance the Gladiator JT is to the 1931 Ford Model A pick up ?

I dont see the similarity
Stand back from the front corner and look down the side of the truck. It's more noticeable on a stock Overland with running boards, street tires, and the 18 inch wheels. The older you are, the more likely you are to see it.

I agree completely. This is why I love mine. I never thought Ford specifically, but the same boxy period, or pre ww2 military trucks.

I also have a crystal granite Mojave, maybe it’s just us? ?

I get it OP. I’d just about trade my JTR for that Model A pick up - almost.
