I can see why they are popular back east. You guys have very limited public land, and your used to over paying for private off road parks. I couldn't believe there are places charging $100+/day. Meanwhile 99% of moab trails are free and even the sand flats recreation area is $10/week. The rubicon trail is free. Most of our ohv parks are publicly owned and just $5/day. $800 to run a free trail is pretty steep.I used to go to Jeep Jamborees until they priced me out.
I'm in NY and have gone to Maine and NY Jamborees.
Maine was always great except for the lunches
I can remember waiting by the computer refreshing the page trying to get a spot. NY, Maine, and New Hampshire were usually the first to sell out.
The a few years ago they made it that you had to pay for a minimum of two people per vehicle.
I'm jus one old guy and wasn't going to pay for an empty seat.
The last time I checked NY and Maine no longer sell out in a matter of hours.
I really enjoyed going but I can go other places way cheaper.
