Just finished installing the JKS Flex Connect Link Kit part #PAC2114 on my Rubi this morning. Looking forward to a softer and controlled ride on our upcoming off road on a 900ish mile long trail!

The unfortunate thing is that they do not currently offer a kit for those of us that have a Rubi disconnecting anit-sway bar so it is supplied with the hardware to disconnect and contain contain them when disconnected..... Another side note that Ive seen as a complaint here is that people don't like cutting off that double sheer tab on the right side axle tube.

I contacted them a few weeks back to inquire about availability, but all they offered was for me to piece together a kit with a bunch of stuff I didn't need at my own expense. I did send them another message this morning with pics, so maybe of enough of us lean on them with interest, they would make the offering?

Good thing I have the ability to handle the manufacturing of the required parts myself....... Not sure how long the O-rings will stay on there, but if they wear, I'll cut off some poly or UHMW spacers for that location.

How is the Flex-Connect working out? Thinking of running this on my Mojave. Thanks!

They work as advertised. Its crazy how this product doesn't seem to have caught on.

Still running them in my truck and a few builds I did at the shop. For you they can be installed with the hardware supplied so they disconnect. I have since machined out some simple aluminum bushings for those of us that have the e-disconnect sway bar for a sano install.

I will order the flex link only from JKS. They used to offer a fixed link for the other side but don't think it is what the market wants now... They fed me the same pile of junk about sleeves and washers etc.. no thanks to that mess, not very professional.

I will be looking for a simple adjustable link for the other side to get a level sway bar. I already have the JKS disconnects from another Jeep. I don't want to run full disconnects on the Mojave but simply want to reduce the head bobble/side to side wobble and get a little more flex.

Happy to hear the Flex Connect works as advertised. Which spring do you run in yours?

Hard say if you will get the result you are looking for over the internet. My understanding is that the Mojave has a lighter bar than the Rubi? You could end up with more body roll on the pavement than you want in exchange for less head bobble and roughness in the small chop.

The overall vehicle manners and then add all other factors like shock valving, spring rate, bar rates have to be taken into account. The Flex Connect spring that I run will not be the spring that you will want more than likely. Just changing front spring rate 10-15% required a different spring in the JKS. Then add in that we are running the Eclik shocks that do a fair amount of body roll mitigation.

You should gain a bit more flex no doubt since there is another flex point at play under extreme loads.

Yes, you're correct the Mojave sway bar has less rigidity, but the suspension is much firmer resulting in a completely different ride vs any of the other stock JT setups. It stays flat on corners and the brake dive is less.

I agree that the factors you mention will impact the spring choice in the flex connect. My initial plan is to run the red road spring, and for those dedicated long days I can always swap in the soft blue spring if on a long dedicated off pavement trip.

I'm thinking you should consider the SwayLOC front bar. Yes it's more money, but you can tune for your desired outcome and then unlock for a lighter var for off road in 10 sec.

Swapping springs in/out of the links for a trip seems crazy.

Thanks, that doesn't work so simply on a Mojave due to the shock reservoir location. Those setups are nice, but not in the cards. I run stock suspension with a simple spacer lift. I like to keep some things within warranty parameters. Thanks for your feedback, I do understand your thought process on this, but for me the simple side works best.
