So i didn’t see this before hand but the side panels require 3 holes to be drilled into the bed side. You will then install 3 press in nutcerts. It says to use a tool which I don’t currently have. Going to search the net and see if i can just press in (punch and hammer) or If the tool is absolutely needed.

plus it is fixing to rain.. will come back to this.

Ok so there is a manual method of install. RC provides the necessary bolt and coupler to get the nutserts to seat with out the tool.

So i goofed this one under the bed light. The tie down is behind the bed wall, i had to drill through that too. Not a big deal but the nursert is for sheet metal, it didn’t seat due to the extra material.

i just used a bolt, no biggie. If you do these just make sure to orient the bracket so that it is flush and not on top of the tie down, i should have rotated it 90*.

all 3 panels in. Traction boards mounted. tonneau back on. It is a Tyger tonneau, i had to trim about 1,5 inches off of the mounting levers so it could clear the molle panel.

I have a set of blue traction boards in my cart right now, too. Where did you get yours from?

What did you use to clean out the holes? I have the same issue with mine. Thanks

@juareze16

It’s a thread tap, you can get a little set at most home improvement or automotive stores.

i don’t remember the size, i’ll see if i can find it.

Thanks! i just purchased the same Rough Country molle panel kit and was debating on installing it myself or having it done. Also i haven't seen any post of it but im assuming the Mopar utility rails will fit over the molle panel brackets.
