Two things I believe they lightened to a fault...brake rotors and windshields

It took 33 months and 46,000 miles, but it happened….

I used to drive the 99 from Oakhurst to San Diego so iput eco Sheila on the windshield. Of the jt. On my jl I went through 5 windshields the 99 in the valley is an awful road to drive. Lots of semis and they constantly drift to the shoulder and throw gravel. With the eco shield idiot crack one windshield and I heard some really loud hits so I am sure I saved 3 or 4 windshields over 1,5 years. It does fade though and I took it off. The windshield was /is perfect don’t want to jinx it.

Sorta. Still haven't had the windshield replaced from the first crack a month or so ago, and took a second hit last week. Heard it, didn't see anything, breathed a sigh of relief. Then got home, and saw it's right in front of the rear view mirror.
Sigh. It's due for inspection in April, so trying to hold off until then so it doesn't happen again before I get the sticker.

Ok, now I'm officially a 2 timer.
ALMOST made it until inspection, until this happened last week. Safelite is coming Thursday, hoping to get inspection scheduled for Friday am.

Nice welcome to the 2 time club, I'm on my 3rd windshield as well. Been 2yrs now since my second replacement so knocking on wood I'll be ok.

On a side note, you gotta find a guy, I got one who's been doing my inspections for 25yrs, it takes 5 minutes and no check engine light and your good
