Went on a little photo op in the country on my brother's land since I had the doors off finally.

Don't realize how big this Jeep is until the wife stands next to it.

Installed the S&B cold air intake.

It's subtle enough where it's not annoying, and has a very nice rumble.

So far, not sure how, I have an average of 2 mpg increase, used to be at 15.9 and currently sitting at 18.1 after putting on 200 miles.

So, this mod I do enjoy!

Got my heated wiper blades installed.

They do leave tiny streaks, which drives me crazy, but I'm accepting that strictly for the experience of trying these this winter..

How did the heated wiper blades work this past winter? Hated the snow/ice buildup on my JKU wipers.

Actually really well.

I do have some streaking on my passenger one from the blade, but they melt the snow like a fire stick and do not touch them as you will more than likely get burned..

If I get another Jeep they would be in my must have mod lists.

Would recommend them.

I was looking at a S&B as well. Still seeing the MPG increase?!

I am!

I recently took a trip for 200+ miles at 75mph+ for an average, and it dropped back down to 16 mpg.

However, after driving another 200 miles daily I'm back at 18 and I think it'll be at 19 soon.

I regear next week, so that'll help even more.

Tomorrow I will have a very different sound interior :)

Still got a ways to go, but pretty excited about this one.

In the future plan to have the floor and doors done.

Love my jeep, but sometimes a little less noise is a plus.

Well, the short story:

1.) The sound dampening for sure helps.

2.) The back looks awesome.

3.) The front looks like someone used scotch tape and it's ugly.

4.) It's permanent, so I'll live with it for a long time. I plan to have a sun shade up all the time anyway, so thankfully I cannot see my freedom panels.

Would I do it again? %100 no.

Live and learn!

Installed the Armorlite Flooring in the Jeep. Total time was about 2.5 hours. I did not take off any trim, just loosened them to get it in place.

The seat was actually really easy to take out. The first attempt I went through the back, come to realize you can slide it out of the front door. So that was slick.

Overall... I'm very pleased with this purchase. The floor looks high quality, and I believe helps tremendously with the road noise from the tires.

This I would recommend for those with the budget and looking for a little more noise reduction.

Installed the Oracle LED Rear Bumper Reverse Lights and man do they light up the dark. I'm pleasantly surprised at how oem they look, fitment was nice, install was clean and they have a tap into the rear taillight.

I had my local dealer install my 4.88 gears to help with my 37's.

If you're reading this, you probably know by now that you'll get people calling you an idiot to regear or praise you as a savior for doing it.

Personally, I think they made a difference that I'm all in favor for. After putting 20k on 37" Ridge Grapplers, I came accustom to being slow (it's a Jeep, I know that).

Well, I wanted a pick me up to no feel so sluggish and after debating for almost a year, pulled the trigger and had them install.

Had a couple hiccups with the dealership, but they have taken very good care of me, so I can't complain.

Again, another purchase I'm super happy with and driving my car feels like a typical car, it doesn't have that Jeep lag, so... Go team!

Last of the updates today. Pedal Commander.
Jeep Gladiator Jon's Jeep Build 2021-08-20 13_41_28-Pedal Commander _ Throttle Response Controller _ PC78 BT and 3 more pages

For $300, is it worth it? Depends, it doesn't transform any power in your Jeep, simply renegotiates with your computer on what's being sent for pressure.

From my understanding, and being taught, it's basically changing the percentage of force from the pedal.

So, if you're pressing down %25 on the pedal, it increases to say %35, giving you more of a push that you'd expect.

I do like this product.

With the Regear and Pedal Com. my Jeep drives like a new vehicle and I couldn't be happier. This thing just feels good.

Will report back in a while. Next install will be the single press window switches.
