JT Tazer tire adjustment issue

Hello, we have a new Tazer installed on our modified 20 JT. We want to change the tire size but when we plug it in the tire size shows 43" which were the old ties. The tazer will not allow us to adjust it up or down, we want to adjust to 40" tires which we now have. Has anyone had this issue and know a work around? We contacted Tazer and they want to modify the BCM, which we are reluctant because we are swapped with a new tune for the engine.

Did you try “un marry” “re marry”. or reboot with 2 sleep cycles. Reset?

Before installing it…did you hook it up to your computer to make sure you’re running the most recent firmware?

Unmarry for sure, latest firm ware, I need to ask him if he let 2 sleep cycles, dc battery for 20 minutes

@gatorboy I checked with my son, he said it is a brand new tazer, old tazer was unmarried, this tazer freshly married. The settings won't allow adjustment of tire size up or down, it is stuck on 43 inch, but he can adjsut other settings/options in the menus

Mmmmm. Probably let Z Automotive tell you what needs to be done. Replace it probably

If ZAuto can't help you and you don't want to modify the BCM, you could try using JSCAN. You'd need to buy a license and module, but they are cheap. Here is a thread regarding using the two together;

I honestly feel JSCAN is the better of the two options as far as BCM settings and code reading. Taser is good for the live features.

Thanks everyone, after going back and forth with ZAuto, they were able to update the BCM file and allow the Tazer to adjust the tire size change.
