JTR with 5.13 next tire purchase??

I have a JTR with 5.13 on stock axles and no other mods otjer than the front drive shaft (still have to do the rear one bit its coming).
looking at the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT got a very good price for the 40’s just debating between 37 or 40?
I was told not to do 40’s because it could bend the stock axles, anyone running 40 on stock axles had any issues?

Depends on how hard you wheel it. Mall crawler or rock bug? Or somewhere inbetween.

I don’t go rock climbing with it, mostly light trails with some steep hills.
