Looking to install JTR suspension take offs for my Overland, my understanding is gasser to gasser the springs and shocks are swapped

i have a set of take offs that’s I’m about to buy but it looks like they may be from A JTRD so higher spring rates on the front.

I did some searching but don’t see an answer, so real world will this be a problem?

Yes. The diesel is significantly heavier and it also carries the gas tank on the opposite side. There's a reason MOPAR manufactures a diesel specific 2" lift and a gas 2" lift. I would stick with gas components on a gas rig.

Will likely drive very strangely. You could try to lookup the spring's part number on the MOPAR site to see if it says which truck it's from.

Did you do this? I think the only difference in suspension components are the springs. The shocks I believe are the same. I was thinking this same thing because I got some parts from a buddy with a JTRD and using the control arms and one shock on my JTR. I was hit by another vehicle and it's been a pain to get parts, those parts in particular. I was wondering about the springs too, like would it sag as much with a steel bumper and winch?

Yup, did in my driveway and it wasn’t difficult

Ended up getting gasser take offs, that swap was worthwhile to me
