Is it me or has the addition of roof racks and a roof basket caused my satellite radio reception problems? The antenna is in the fixed roof portion from what I've read so all that metal above it must do something. If this is the case, is there an "external" antenna that can be mounted in another location?

This is a known issue lets call it... You can resolve by relocating the satellite receiver (not hard to do).

You will need to buy a relocation bracket though.

I just called Maximus-3 because I had a problem placing the order on-line. They are fantastic. I had a great conversation with a "millennial" that was normal and a great guy. It was a nice change. No offense to the other Millennials out there....

Yes, any roof rack will interfere with the satellite antenna which is mounted in the center bar above your speakers. I have to slightly moved my roof rack to clear the antenna.....

Got my relocation bracket and it seems simple enough to install but there were no instructions. I looked on-line and found a couple of videos but nothing I would call "instructions".

Anyone know of a video or instructions on installation?
