Just venting. I know a lot of people have bigger issues waiting for their order to actually arrive but did Mopar not plan that people would order some of these accessories outside the build? Im speak specifically the trail rail system! I have been waiting over a month for this thing and just keep getting notifications it’s being pushed back. Now, like many, I have parts sitting around I can’t use because Mopar has their head so far up their butts. LE how about, as someone noted FLE, Failure to Launch Edition. First world problems, I know.

That is certainly a first world problem if I’ve ever heard one. Consider yourself lucky that’s your only problem lol

Probably a crapshoot on demand for a new vehicle and they misfired.

Would anyone have preferred they delay the vehicle launch altogether another 6 months to a year, just to coordinate all possible options? No.

Fiat did screw the pooch in my opinion... when they went to release the JL they actually got a bunch of models together and released them to aftermarket mfg’s in secrecy before the public saw or was able to get their hands on them.

On the JT, it was such a big secret that they didn’t do what they did with the JL. This really put us as consumers and aftermarket mfg’s scrambling...

As for Mopar parts, a lot of aftermarket mfg’s make the parts for Mopar, ie bestop makes all the one soft tops.

So again, we are left with not much available and just waiting, waiting, and waiting for the stuff we want. Not just to mention, the factory takes precedent over us getting any oem parts... sucks but it is what it is.

Ps... I do agree with you OP... need what we have paid for to get our builds just right!

Also another reason to buy as minimal as possible too...most options will have an aftermarket for them thats better than stock anyway.

@BuiltRight is doing their own Trail Rail system for cheaper if you can go that route.

They actually didn't with the JL. It was controversial. The aftermarket got JLs when everyone else did. Think about how a company like AEV, who has made OEM parts for Jeep in the past, still doesn't even have a JL bumper out.
