I don’t know for certain but from what I have seen posted I think the highest priced units get put on the line first. I know that’s the way I would do it because of higher profit margins. You must read the article about the supply chain at the plant https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/attachments/autosupplychaincase10_30_09-final-pdf.88643/
The speed of my order I think has something to do with the fact that the MSRP on mine is $71,765 and can’t believe I’m spending that much. Once the build gets started they don’t have room or time to set them aside to come back to. Once they start the build those things are built. The time it’s taking is waiting to get prioritised in the build schedule. The rest of the time is waiting for shipping unless something went wrong and it needs rework. That’s my on it after reading the supply chain article. Anyone else think differently?

P.S. I am not paying even close to MSRP for this.

The reason I mention paint is it’s the only common denominator depending on how the facility is set up they may try and do batch builds if like paint orders.

Still don’t have build sheet or sticker on the tracker.

checked again today 2-17-22 they said had completed final build and was entering inspection. I’m sorry you guys are having to wait that would drive me crazy. I would guess my luck has something to do with the price of mine. Fully loaded GLADIATOR Rubicon Diesel White. Hope y’all don’t have to wait much longer.
I think you may be correct..... I think they are prioritizing the more expensive builds (Mojave/Rubicons). More expensive, more margins.

Totally agree with you.... on the manufacturing side, if you can't build everything ...build the most profitable, right. Since salaries & bonuses are based on how much you make. They have lost volume but they are making up for it with better margins.

Good afternoon all. Another newbie here willing to share my JTM (gas) order experience. I was going to follow along the "D" status journey like I always do (as I usually order out my vehicles) from VIN, to sticker, to build sheet, etc.

Ordered Bright White JTM one week ago today (2/14). I was notified by my dealer today that the VIN was created on 2/16 and sticker created 2/17. It was then in production and completed on 2/19. Wow. Born.

It has been released to the ship/storage yard. I do however expect it to sit for a solid month+ waiting for rail. The Toledo plant must be in high gear and from what I have read, they are running two long line shifts seven days a week.

The Dealer thinks a very late March arrival. I still think sometime in April with the trucking issues that we are experiencing here.

Gotta get on the ball and start ordering Wheels, Tires, Tonneau, Bed Protection, Rails and many, many other goodies.

I almost forgot to mention that my 2022 JTM is not loaded with every option. MSRP is $59,040. Options include Gas 3.6, Auto, LED package, Cold weather package, Select-trac, Gorilla glass, body color Freedom top and body color fenders.

Someone mentioned earlier that loaded builds get through the process much faster due to profit margins. I don't know about that.

I was on the fence with the color however. Either Silver Zynith or Bright White were my two choices. My sales consultant said that the Bright White may get go through faster as they do paint in "batches" and Bright White is much more popular than Silver Zynith. I also stayed away from what I read was slowing some builds down like a spray-in bedliner, aux switches and active safety group.

Getting excited though!

No build sheet yet. My JTRD is a middle of the road build I guess. $63k MSRP, Silver Zynith, fairly optioned except no safety or color match top. It does have aux switches though as I had seen someone mention for possible delay.
