I'm in this thread again......... at least I have mine to drive and enjoy until the new one arrives to replace it.

Congrats! What color/trim/options did you end up choosing? I ordered my Gobi sport S max tow on 4/12 and got d1 on 4/26. No other updates as of yet.

Wanted to get snazzberry but it's no longer available, or at least it isn't this week.
Ironically, got one identical to the one I have with minor additions.
Added:
Selec-Trac transfer case
Gorilla glass (because it's a lot lighter and it's supposed to be better in major accidents, so it's a weight and safety thing
AUX switches. Still not certain of use, but am strongly thinking of wiring the bumper-mount Oracle LED backup lights so they come on with the truck in reverse, OR I can turn them on to have light out the back for dealing with loading and strapping a car onto a trailer at night. It will take a few moments of thinking, but that's the plan. That supposedly gets you a slightly larger CCA battery if what I have read is correct.
Otherwise, it will be a blue Overland just like what I had.

My Overland towed great, is really comfortable. I almost went High Altitude.

(I have never liked a truck so much - not since I had my 1970 Chevy 3/4 ton back in the 80s. It was a great truck for its day and I drove it all over the place, and hauled a heck of a lot of heavy stuff and trailers with that Chevy)

Ordered a Gobi Mojave Apr 22nd from Gupton. Checked with Jeep Chat yesterday for the first time and I have a VIN. They also added "Your order is in the scheduling phase of the manufacturing process".

Just paid the $1000 deposit for my order from Gupton. Anyone know how long it takes before I can start tracking the build order online? Not really sure how to go about doing that. Do I get an email or something?

You will get a VON number - either from your dealer, or if you got an email order confirmation from Jeep, thanking you, etc. you can put in a cell number and get text messages if you want.
First time around my dealer emailed me with the VON which I could use to get the VIN and start tracking things. He kept me up within hours of him getting the info.

This time - I visited them Monday, May 2nd, called him to say ok and confirm the order that afternoon about 4pm on the 2nd.
So far......... radio silence, rigged for silent running, whatever - no word from anyone so it means order accepted, nothing scheduled so far.

Sales guy called me today and said mine is in D mode.
Tuesday I got an email saying to click a button to enter my phone number and get text updates but I never got the text message to confirm and say yes or "ALLOW".
Their system must be broken - when I tried to enter my phone number again, it says it's already in the system. so no updates.......

Resistance is futile. I'm 2 mos into the wait for my JTR and 3 UPS boxes into my mods. Enjoy the journey.

I had my VON/VIN within two days of placing my order on 4/12. I received notice that my build went to D1 status on 4/26. Since then, no other information has been passed along to me and none of the tracking websites show anything further.
