I know you weren't asking me, but I have a '21 Willys with the Kenda 35x10.5 tires and a 1.5" level.

No rubbing with stock wheels. I don't have spacers so I can't answer that, but spacers shouldn't negatively affect anything either.

I have the same Gladiator. If I go to these tires from the 33s I now have will I lose a lot of performance and mileage with these?

Adding another update, now have 50k on the tires, measured the tread depth still at an even 8/32nds on all four. Tires still ride great, they are a little slipper when wet but not really an issue. Rotate them every 5k and run them at around 36psi.

My issue I'm running into is with the tire setting of 34.71, 8th gear at 70 is 2000 RPM. So I seem to be running in 7th quite often.

You lost me here. Also, you can have the display show what gear you are in.

My issue is that my transmission is running in 7th gear instead of 8th on the highway which drinks fuel.

mine measure out to 33.75” or so from ground up. I tried as close to that as possible initially but it didn’t feel right. A lot of downshifting to 7th and high rpm hangouts.
Having the issue with seeing a lot of 7th gear on the highway.

Does it though? I can’t really tell a difference in MPG from going from 32s-34s and I only see 8th on flat ground and no head wind. 3.73s and 34s is mathematically almost the same gear ratio as 35s and 4.10s.

It’s only a 500 rpm difference. I’ve had that tire size since 2020 and my mpg has stayed the same as OEM/the window sticker MPG. I just have to keep it under 80.

The fuel mileage has dropped a couple. I'll readjust the Tazer and see if that changes things.

I don’t have a tazer. Hopefully that helps. Are those tires really heavy?

You know what finally disrupted my MPG? Aerodynamics. When I put on my bumper, winch and lights last year, I dropped a few mpg hwy. I have an aluminum copy (MP Concepts) of the Mopar steel bumper and two 7” round lights on it. Nothing crazy.

I can see 8th if I drive 65 or so, but any hill or overpass it’s in 7th. When I tow my trailer it’s usually 6th. 4th up steep hills. It’s at about 4500 rpm at 65 in 4th. I passed someone today and had it at 6k. It was screamin

I don't recall what I have mine set to size wise, I am using an AEV Procal, I set it by trial an error using a GPS speedo on my phone. I believe it is a little smaller than the calculated size. I get around 17mpg in the winter and 19mpg in the summer, mostly traffic going in and out of the city, it does a little better on long trips but not much.
