Looks good! What do you think of those rocktrix wheels? Been really contemplating some, are those +12 offset? They measure pretty much dead on 34” at 36 psi on the Jeep. Here are some photos.
The quality seems great. The finish was perfect, they’re hub centric which I like. No complaints. And yes +12mm on a Max Tow.Looks good! What do you think of those rocktrix wheels? Been really contemplating some, are those +12 offset?
Thanks, I couldn't really find much info on those wheels and the price seems right. Really helps seeing the offset, I was thinking I wanted the +12, don't want rocks being thrown down the side. The quality seems great. The finish was perfect, they’re hub centric which I like. Yeah, I’m happy with the +12 with the 10.5 wide tires. They poke out just a bit with the max tow’s slightly wider axles. I definitely wouldn’t want 12.5 wide with the -12, you’ll be way outside the fenders. The listing on amazon for the wheels has a nice diagram of what to expect from the different offsets, it helped me make my choice. Thanks, I couldn't really find much info on those wheels and the price seems right. Thanks, I have an overland so the narrow axles, but thinking the -12 would wind up pretty close to what you have since I believe the axles are about 3/4" wider each sideYeah, I’m happy with the +12 with the 10.5 wide tires. Did you remove the bottom air dam or just the fender ones? They measure pretty much dead on 34” at 36 psi on the Jeep. Here are some photos.
You have to remove the bottom air dam to get the fender ones off so I didn’t bother putting the bottom back on. I don’t know if it will rub or not.Did you remove the bottom air dam or just the fender ones?
Will find out in the next couple months. Weather hasn't turned yet where I live. How are these working out in snow and ice?
They do relatively well. Probably not as well as ice specific tires but i hit some snow and ice on the way back from moab and i didnt die.How are these working out in snow and ice?
Is that an in-store price or online? I'm seeing them for $200 online. I haven't bought the spare yet and was going to jump on the $159 for that. I despise Walmart as well, but I bought the 1st (4) from a local shop for $205 ea, so my conscious will allow me to buy (1) from Wallyworld. Thanks for all the info, gents!
As of right now Walmart has the 35x10.50r17 D range for $159. Not a big fan of Walmart but at that price I got five from them.
Garage is filling up while I wait for the Jeep to get here... Eyeballing the Hutchinson Rock Monsters pretty hard since tires cost half what I was estimating.
