I've got this beat. I managed to drop a credit card that magically fell into the gap alongside the parking break. :headbang:

You'd think after 10mm sockets going missing all over the world there would be a solution. I tried just leaving it on my socket wrench, I lost the whole thing. Never found it again, had to go buy a new wrench too.

The fob being eaten by the hole in the console is similar to the rule of the universe that whenever you drop a wrench, it will always land on the floor directly under the center of the truck. ?
I both hate and recognize the inevitabiity of this rule. Also applies to my Airpods that fall out of my pocket weekly when I am standing next to my JTR. For some reason.

So my key fob fell in between the drivers seat and console. I reached down from the top to grab it and the key slid into the half circle hole in the bottom of the console. I cant get a tool or magnet in there. The seat won't move far enough to let me see or get a hand on anything. Suggestions???
Do I take out the drivers seat or try to get the console to come up?
It has proximity locks so I don't want someone to try and steal my daily driver.
Any help would be appreciated

Happened to me last year.. can't find it nor fish it out. considered taking out drivers seat but haven't yet

uhg, I lost one of my ear bud (google)rubber pieces in that same spot. Now I'm tempted to try these tips because I haven't been able to find a replacement.

Oh yeah? Well my Border Collie went missing in my Jeep 2 days ago and I’m still looking under the seat and between the console. I can hear her in there and she isn’t happy.

Just lost my apple ear buds case (with ear buds in them) to that hole in the middle console. AHHHHHHHH seriously why is it there!!!

While they're in there could you take a picture of what hole everyone's struggling with?
Pro tip: Use both hands on your phone
I’ve never had this problem, but I do happen to have a set of those between seat caddies. Need to track those down and see if I can find this hole everyone is talking about.
