Where's the hole?

Naw, I will resist temptation..........Where's the hole?
Gotta be honest I just looked and I didn't see this hole you were talking about BUT, the rear cupholder is pretty pliable. I think it's held in with a couple pop clips so you might be able to reach the key from the back there
I just did this myself today. I couldn’t reach my fob. I saw it disappear when I touched with my finger. I decided to wait for daylight I’ll try again tomorrow. So my key fob fell in between the drivers seat and console. I reached down from the top to grab it and the key slid into the half circle hole in the bottom of the console. I cant get a tool or magnet in there. The seat won't move far enough to let me see or get a hand on anything. Suggestions???
Do I take out the drivers seat or try to get the console to come up?
It has proximity locks so I don't want someone to try and steal my daily driver.
Any help would be appreciated
I fully expected your next thread to be titled "Key Fob and 10 mm Socket in console ... only me"Great advice and some much needed comedy too!
What kind of socket would I use on the seat bolts?
I know the console bolts are 10 mm.
I unbolted the back of the console and loosened the front console bolts. I was able to lift the console up from the back and get my arm in there.I just did this myself today. I couldn’t reach my fob. I saw it disappear when I touched with my finger. I decided to wait for daylight I’ll try again tomorrow.
I spent an hour with back scratcher trying to get my fob. I could shine a flashlight under the seat could barely see my fob. Got mad and decided to unbolt seat, I didn’t have any torque sockets so used 10mm socket but couldn’t get the inside bolt off for worrying about stripping so put the other bolt back and continued with my backscratcher. Another half hour and finally retrieved my fob. Never again. Oh, I also found a key to my storage locker that was missing for almost a year. When you figure it out let me know. I’ve got a missing beard comb that fell into some black hole in there somewhere when I first bought the truck and hasn’t been seen since. . .
