Ah ok the black threw me off. It looked like a King label sticker thing but it was black. :surprised:
You can get King Shocks in any color you want. Talk to Ben at Flithy Motorsports. Yes there is an extra charge and lead time.

Here's the latest update: rear fender liners, bump stops, locker wiring, and brake lines getting installed and cleaned up. Next up, the front liners, exhaust, and a final tune.

Sometimes I think My JT is set up then I read a thread like this and realize I am still stock. I just can't seem to pay the dues for the upper 1 % club . My EJS trails will be limited to Onion Creek.

Why didn't you go with a triangulated 4 link in the rear to eliminate the rear track bar?

Eh, enjoy what ya got!

I started with a Sport S, 6 speed manual transmission, and 33's... didn't take long for the tire envy to start after my first EJS trip.

If you see King Kong out and about come say hi! Hope to get to meet some forum members out there

It came down to the the control arm mounting brackets. I like the way the EVO mfg front long arm brackets mount directly to the frame high and tight instead of a crossmember. The rear control arm brackets are relocated to the outside of the frame and high clearance as well.

My last JT had a RK Silverback (long arm front w/ the 4 link rear). It was a great system and rode well, but ultimately I liked the evo brackets design/placement better.

Here are my two latest videos. The first reviews the installation of Rebel's DSS aluminum inner fender liners and some issues I ran into installing them:

The second is a maintenance day with a gear oil change and the installation of a wideband gauge for tuning:

I have one more video coming out next week that will have all of my last minute modifications including suspension tuning, rear springs, and a custom exhaust. Then, I'm excited to share our EJS experience!
