Land Cruiser "1958" starts at $57,445
Land Cruiser Starts at $63,445
Land Cruiser "First Edition" Starts at $76,445.

To recap: the new LC is limited to Hybrid with a 2.4L Turbocharged 4 cylinder making 326 HP/465 Ft Lbs. Torque. You can get a rear locker, a sway bar disconnect, and the LC line now uses an electronic "terrain selector" that pushes power based on your environment.

I'm pretty curious about who the demographic is for this thing with those prices... a high level 4runner will be cheaper, a loaded bronco raptor will be the same as the "first edition", and the mid level LC is going to be directly competing with a JLUR. Im going to bet that the Tacoma Trailhunter is going to priced to compete with the mid-level LC as well... so I have no idea who Toyota is going for with this thing.

it's a 4runner with luxury. I'd buy it as a family car over the 4runner, but maybe not at those prices.

I had a FJ-40 and a FJ-80 and a 4Runner in my past. I loved my LC's and kick myself daily for selling them. I would have picked up a newer Land Cruiser had the price not blasted up to over $100k.

Now we are finally getting a "reasonably priced" Land Cruiser on the market soon. In a year or so, I will be looking hard at them.

I'm interested in the 80 series and 70 series Land Cruisers. That's it. The 80 was peak Land Cruiser, it's been downhill ever since.

Wife has fallen in love with the Lexus version, the GX. I'm sure by the time all is said and done, those will be minimum $80k..
