I see we've gotten to the big truck axle nut sockets
That beats my 4 3/8...
Yep, I've got a few. I turned wrenches professionally for nearly 20 yrs before I switched to running the equipment I worked on. Kinda felt like cheating.I see we've gotten to the big truck axle nut sockets
Yes I had to walk over to the shop ,since I now sit at a boring desk job all day. I would rather still be wrenching .Yep, I've got a few. I turned wrenches professionally for nearly 20 yrs before I switched to running the equipment I worked on. Kinda felt like cheating.
I think my biggest regular socket is 2 1/4 or so.
So after you determine the socket size winner, are we moving on to who has the biggest nuts? ?
I'm gonna get that printed on a tshirtI think mx5red has that one wrapped up.
I hear you, I just applied for a potential desk job. Not exactly sure about it, but it would be a pretty decent raise, and I only have about 10yrs left.Yes I had to walk over to the shop ,since I now sit at a boring desk job all day. I would rather still be wrenching .
Not so much anymore.
Very cool.I'm an old air cooled guy, so I think the biggest socket I have is a 36 or 37, can't compete with the bigger sockets in here.
I do however have an exhaust valve from a diesel engine in a submarine as a door stop, it's about 35" long and the valve base is roughly 10" in diameter.... so that's kind of cool I guess
I don't know about the rest of these guys, but I'd like to see a picture of that valve. I've seen a few decent sized ones, but nothing that big.I'm an old air cooled guy, so I think the biggest socket I have is a 36 or 37, can't compete with the bigger sockets in here.

This is the same one I have (mine’s buried in the corner of the garage)I don't know about the rest of these guys, but I'd like to see a picture of that valve. I've seen a few decent sized ones, but nothing that big.
