Launch Edition ship date?

As long as it is a 2020 year model, the Launch Edition can carry that moniker. You have to look at the long term.. this is a first year new vehicle. So it’s really more of a commemorative edition and not so much a first out of the gate edition.
Shit. That’s actually a pretty good break down.. I even successfully incorporated some big words! I should post from the toilet more often!

I hear you brother... even my dealer hasn't responded in 4 days, I guess he doesn't have any update LOL
Good thing is that I am traveling for business the next 10 days and I won't have much spare time to keep dreaming about my LE haha... and then we will slide into Memorial Day Weekend so I think I can cruise the rest of the May without thinking about my truck . I keep telling myself mid to late July and that way if I get it sooner then it is a bonus!

It has been tempting to bail on the LE and grab one of the pre-spec Rubicons, but it’ll feel that much more gratifying when it finally arrives. Dealer called me and offered to sell me the Black rubicon I drove in leu of my LE for only $2000 over msrp.. lol. Said it was about the same price. Well even if it was it is missing the front cam, tonneau cover, Bluetooth speaker, custom dash etc..

I was excited for putting in my order in for the Launch Edition, but this is complete horse shit, many automotive company will bend over backwards to take care of the customers and at least give a proper explanation. IF THE TFL GUYS ARE CORRECT then we should all have LE keys in our hands by JULY or AUGUST!! but lately I have been having second thoughts about walking away. My damn neighbor just drove up with a Rubicon-non-LE and rub it in my face that he got the first Rubicon truck in Vegas. I smiled and waved all I can do. I don’t know at this point but if a true JEEP EXECUTIVE guy can put some updated info about the LE soon I may change my mind and stay but I may cut my loss by the end of this week. “Not trying to be a Debbie downer”

I received an email from the Sales Manager of my local dealer. My white LE is scheduled to ship 5/18, and he expects a 10 to 14 day transit time. I expect that would push delivery to early to mid June.

Agree, extremely low how they are treating some of the most loyal following that agreed to do this thinking we would be the first. But especially the fact that they can’t even give us information on what is going on while these are just popping up around us is just bull. The LE is going to be a pretty non event because they now let these just leaks out and take the limelight. Sad and frankly embarrassing. This is just a story waiting in the wings for a motor journalist to get a hold of.

I did just that. Canceled my LE, hopefully I get a refund, and bought one at a dealership. Didn't get as good a deal but I got it. No regrets, although I'm really pissed LE wasn't available at launch. I've written a bunch of emails, but no one really cares...

My sales guy just sent this picture to me about a non-LE rubicon showing up but they put a bunch of upgrades on it before it’s sold.

On a shitty note:
Called Jeep FCA this morning and they said my truck is in D1 status still and on hold for 30 days no other info.

I then called my sales guy and asked if I cxl the order what happens! He Said that the deposit is non-refundable so if I walk they keep 1k. But enjoy the picture I text you. Thanks Jeep

Any dealer that would keep your deposit is a dealer you shouldn't have went to in the 1st place. I go drive the Gladiator my dealer has in stock every time I swing by haha. Then again I buy a new car every 6 months and I'm looked at as a distant employee at this point. I learned something new about the back window this evening.

I spoke to Concierge today named Skylar and she shared that I was in D1 status as well, VIN assigned. She also said that the Launch editions were not scheduled for production until June. They say patience is a virtue...

I talked to Jeep Chat today and they said I was in D1 status for 20 days now and that it usually is less than a 30 day stay. My anticipated ship date is 5/16 and I keep hearing that both chat and concierge keep stating that production will not commence until June, which is what Travis @tricity originally told us. Yesterday I checked my VIN on the window sticker link and I got a message saying that no information existed on my VIN. I checked it again and the message now is attached below. I think this is good news.
