I seem to recall when I special ordered my Gladiator S that LED lighting was an option.I see you can build a 2020 JL Wrangler Sport S with LED headlight and fog for $895. Anyone heard of this being an option for the 2021 Gladiator Sport S?
It's not in the Build & Price on Jeep's site and not on the ordering guide https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...adiator-jt-order-guide-updated-monthly.15368/ . The only LED lights you can get on the Sport S are the tail lights that come with the Active Safety Group.I seem to recall when I special ordered my Gladiator S that LED lighting was an option.
There's no info on the 2021 yet. It was rumored to start production in Spring 2020. It would be nice though if they did offer the LED group on the Sport S instead of being forced to get the Overland, Rubicon or Mojave.I see you can build a 2020 JL Wrangler Sport S with LED headlight and fog for $895. I sat next to the salesman as he was checking the boxes and read along on the monitor. It was definitely there. The Jeep web site is not as complete as the ordering screen they have at the dealerships. It's not in the Build & Price on Jeep's site and not on the ordering guide https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...adiator-jt-order-guide-updated-monthly.15368/ . When was that? The link I posted is for the ordering guide from these gladiator forums. The current one is from March 3, 2020. That's what I looked at and while it is complete the LED package isn't available for the Sport S.I sat next to the salesman as he was checking the boxes and read along on the monitor. Lets' see, I totaled my Cruze 2 days before Christmas so it would have been the week between Christmas and New year. I don't think I waited till January but if I did, it would have been the first week. Somewhere in that 2 week window. Mine is a 2020 though. Hope I didn't confuse things. When was that? No prob. I think it was $995 extra which you could pay lower for aftermarket. Come to think of it, I remember seeing the LED package being available when I was doing the build & price earlier this year. Jeep probably took it out to get people to buy the Overland or Rubicon. Just like they took away the Max Tow for the basic Sport.I just checked with the guy that ordered mine. It's not there under the S any more. It was option AD6. I remember it being a grand or so at the time which is why I didn't get it. I think you have to go to the Overland now to get it. They must have changed it, sorry.
They do but it is more expensive unless you find some take-offs. Quadratec has the LED headlights for $939 and the tail lights without blind spot sensors are $315 each, with blind spot sensors are $559 each. I'm not going to bother looking up the other led lights, I think you get the idea.Doesn't Mopar sell the LED headlight set as an option that can be installed after purchase?
Yes but they've been on galactic back order all year with no current ETA.Doesn't Mopar sell the LED headlight set as an option that can be installed after purchase?
