I know RC has a certain reputation, but…
I just finished 3 nights in Big Bend NP, camping in a back country site 10 miles from pavement. The road out there wasn’t terribly technical, but it was very bumpy - bumpy enough that my time to the site took 1.5 hours.
By day 3 I was just sending it, finishing the same run in just under an hour. I expected I’d shake the truck apart. Heck, a similar road in Arches literally shook the bolts out of my basket before the new suspension. And while I won’t say it was smooth or even comfortable, it was better than I expected.
I never aired down since I figured it was a shortish run so I was at full tire pressure. But the Vertex shocks did their job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking about them.
