Still haven’t gotten my personalized ‘Big Buck’ plate, yet, to match ‘Lil’ Buck’s (TJ) plate! ‘Lil’ Buck’ my TJ Golden Eagle, likes to “Crow Hop” (Rodeo bucking term) across washboard roads. Hence his name.
When my JT came along, he just naturally became ‘Big Buck’! ;{

I have a CJ2A I am working on, so
I got 46CJ246 to put on my JT until I get the CJ2A running, then I will switch it over to the CJ2. This might help to keep me focused :angel:

Don’t hate me but after reading this thread I had to act proactively and get a plate to hang on one of our company’s little Ranger (We call it the Danger Ranger!) until I can get one in my garage...
Well I was going to transfer the above plate over to my truck when I got it but while waiting I decided to go another way...

I just ordered a new plate.....SHERPAH....

since this truck is going to be carrying my Overland gear (and plywood @Stephenf357 ) I thought the name better reflected its use.

LOL! I'm surprised that one was approved. God Bless Texas, I guess!
The backstory... when I ordered the Gladiator, I told the dealer to please let me know when it arrives so I can pick it up immediately as I didn't want anyone test driving it or anything. When it arrived, it was late on a Saturday and it couldn't be inspected, so it would have to wait until Monday - the problem though is I was leaving town for an entire week starting that Sunday, so the Jeep would just sit at the dealer.

I called him on Monday and told him I didn't want anyone farting in it. After that, they kept telling me they were taking turns ripping huge farts in it. The day before I was heading up to get it, the sales manager sent me a video of their appointment board for that next day... and next to my name they labeled my Jeep as 'SHITSTORM' due to all the shenanigans.

I knew I had to submit this plate to try and get it... and somehow it got approved.

When I went to pick it up, the tiny rural tax office was super quiet, you could hear all the conversations... the lady behind the window told me there was a note on my plates that said they had to confirm that my plates were not inappropriate in nature before giving them to me.... I quickly told her, "it stands for 5 hour thunderstorm." The whole tax office erupted in laughter. The lady was like, "ahhh, yeah... sure."

She issued me the plates, and I practically ran out of the tax office. I get wayyyy more attention for them than I thought I would.

I'm sure they'll get suspended at some point. :D

@WildJD Just curious- Is there an inside joke in the name of your ranch?
Yep! Just what it says... “Nada-Lada”...pronounced “Notta Lotta”... in Texas I had the “Nadalada Land & Cattle Co.”... I tell people it means “Itty Bitty”! lol! ;{
