I have a fox box single 10 that I'm thinking is putting a sub that will need a 3/4" spacer. I know that Fox acoustics has a 2" seat lift for the back seat. I only need to lift the seat 1/2" - 1" to get some clearance for the sub.

Has anyone lifted the rear seat a little? Does the seat latch still latch?

Does Fox really require you to lift the seat for their box? Is it a front firing or top firing sub? I ask because I've built 3 different boxes. First for a single 10" sub, then two subs, and now I have three subs. All have the proper displacement and the box still fit with no issues.

I'm just wondering.

No not if you use one of the recommended subs. I'm trying to fit a 5.9" mounting depth sub in it and want to give it some extra clearance.

The fox 2" is for their dual 10 box but I can't lose 2" of rear headroom. My boys are 6'2" / 6'3"
