I never wanted to go so far as trying to fit competition sized audio package in my Jeep. I resigned myself to never going bigger than 8". I have had both bazookas and the MB Quart box in my Gladiator. They always sounded like crap with the doors off, I also felt like quality was sub-par. I bought the Stinger box and have had it installed for a week now. With the same JL audio amp and the same size speakers, I can safely claim a 30% upgrade in quality of the tones coming out of my Jeep. I can tell you this is because of the down firing subwoofers and the rear facing port. It gives the sound waves more surface to reverb off of. Its the first time my dashboard has jumped to the music. Hands down, the Stinger is built better and built right for application in the Gladiator. Don't waste time or money trying anything else.
