I'm relatively need to Jeep ownership and have had my Gladiator for several months and looking to change the wheels/tires and get a more aggressive look and to be able to use offroad a bit more. Currently a Rubicon running stock.

Looking to go to 35 or 37's and not sure about how much lift I would want. I am not doing the Rubi trail any time soon, so just looking for a good stance, can take offroad without issue and handle some tough spots, and still be able to drive (not a daily) on the road to wherever.

I'm looking at Nitto Grapplers or KO2's and Black Rhino Armory wheels. Would love to get some opinions! thanks.

I think the Mopar 2.5" lift with 35's will get you where you want to go without breaking the bank. I have the mopar lift and 33's on my Overland and my buddy has the mopar lift and 35's on his Rubicon. Goes everywhere we want them to go!

Head over the threads titled Tires, Wheels and Brakes or Suspension, Steering and Chassis. There is a ton already there with all the options and opinions to help you make a decision. Good luck with you mods.

I put the rough country 2.5 inch leveling kit on the front and went with .75 daystar spacer in the rear and I run 35’s and there is a lot of room left fixing to go to 37’s and by the way my gladiator is the rubicon model and it rides great and by doing it that way it only cost around 300 dollars and that includes installation

Thanks guys. I think I've settled on the 35's and 2.5 lift. Not sure about tire width now...of course, going with 17's to match the 35's, but width I'm hoping to get something that is about an inch beyond the fender (no more). Have to do some more work on this. Likely go with the Yoko Geolander X-AT. Wheels wise I'm down to Black Rhino Arsenal (I've heard about the rusting bolts but they are definitely a fav), XD Series Panzer, and Fuel Zepher...all black.

Thanks again.

The amount of wheel backspacing/offset will determine how far your tires stick out laterally.

For example, mine are 12.5"-wide 35s on 17x9” -12mm offset/4.53” backspaced wheels.

If you get really wide tires and less backspacing, you likely will rub.

I have the Geolandar X A/T tires 35x12.5/17 and love them. As quiet as the stock Overland tires I removed.
