If you bend it again, consider Quadratec's aluminum skids, which add steel cross beams.

Our belly pans have steel crossmembers, not to mention we use a harder 6061 aluminum vs the 5052 which is softer that quadratec uses switching skids would be a down grade the current alpha series has been revised to address issues the previous system had

Necro-post but since this thread comes up in searches on aluminum belly plates…

I installed the Next Venture belly plate system with UHMW (diesel, in case that matters), weighed everything coming off and going on, and the grand total came to +48 lbs. I’m certain the UHMW is a fair bit of that, maybe 30 lbs.
