My Linkswell was installed two months ago, but I have never been able to turn on my Forward Collision Braking. After a few back and forths, it turns out that the installer had no idea that in addition to buying the Jeep Kit, you also had to buy a $70 Jeep adapter. Why the hell wouldn't the Jeep adapter come with the Jeep kit? Linkswell assured me that all of my safety features would work again once that box was added. They also told me that if I added a 4G sim to it my Uconnect app would work, which is BS.

After about a week and a half, they said I must have a bad can box (which comes with the radio kit) and they'd send another to the installer. I waited for it to arrive but could no longer delay leaving on a long-planned trip to Vermont from Atlanta. Little by little, I started having electrical issues that started with turn signal out warnings even though all of my lights were working. About halfway to Vt, it started throwing service shifter warnings on the dash. A day after I arrived in Vt the entire dash went berserk, my power steering quit, and my radio would no longer turn off when I turned the truck off. Luckily, that screen is so bright that I noticed it still on as I walked away. I started having to do radio resets to get it to turn off.

I brought it to a local dealer up here. They determined that the factory can bus bar had fried. A day later they installed the part but now my steering controller was also fried. I waited another day for that controller to be installed. They just called and told me something is feeding too high of voltage to the bus bar they just installed. They specifically mentioned they believe it's the stereo feeding the high voltage and frying things. They stated they need another hour or two to be sure.

Has anyone had this or a similar problem with or without a Linkswell stereo installed? If so, what was the cause? The repairs are currently at $1600 and climbing.
