Did anyone see this short from LiteBrite. I don't follow their socials, but this happened to pop up when I was looking for AMW stuff.

Summary: Order a V8 from AMW through Jeep with full warranty. All in for $80k.

Has anyone heard anything from their dealers about this happening? I have a hard time believing the price or the warranty, but I'd love to be wrong.

Could be similar to the partnership Jeep had with AEV during the JK era when AEV offered 5.7 or 6.4 in the Wrangler conversions which later led to the DC Brute.

I believe there's also a lot left out of this - maybe on purpose, to get clicks and views.
Some just makes no sense, and if you ask or challenge, all you get is "yes it is".

No jeep has no partnership with amw some Jeep dealers are now working directly with America’s Most Wanted 4x4 (AMW) for HEMI/Hellcat swaps. Basically, you can order a Jeep through the dealer and have it sent to AMW before delivery, or take your own in for the swap.
Factory powertrain warranty goes away, but AMW backs the engine/trans with their own warranty (usually 3yr/36k). The rest of the Jeep (electronics, body, suspension, etc.) still keeps the Mopar warranty. If something fails, AMW covers the swap parts, the dealer covers the stock Jeep parts.

Wonder how that works if you blow a pinion bearing, u-joint, axle, seals or something about it doesn't work because modules aren't talking to each other? You'll have a mix of BCM, TCM, PCM and other items all trying to communicate - who pays for the troubleshooting of you have it at a dealership for a day and they find "it's not us"?

Just wondering.............

From what I understand, if you go through a Jeep dealer that partners with AMW, the factory Jeep warranty still applies to the untouched parts, and AMW covers the swapped engine/transmission with their own warranty (usually 3yr/36k). So Jeep covers Jeep stuff, AMW covers the swap, and the dealer makes it all flow together.

But again, you have an odd issue, and it's related to electronics or the electric system. You take it to the dealer who spends 4 hours on it, to find the problem isn't a Jeep module, it's with the conversion.
Does AMW pay the dealer for their time?

If you break a part, other than engine or transmission - and the dealer decides it broke due to the conversion or blames the conversion, Jeep refuses to cover it - will AMW?
It's not always cut and dried. You could be some place in another state, the thing goes down, and you have it towed to a dealer - the dealer says sorry, this is too much for that axle (or whatever) and the dealer and Jeep won't cover it - then what? AMW covers the cost of towing back to another state and the dealer's time?

it's not always cut and dried. There's no line in the sand, no white lines saying this is us, this is them. Electronics, wiring and so on may span multiple parts.
You might have a driveshaft issue - the dealer says sorry, and Jeep won't cover it - who covers their time and the towing involved? Will AMW write the dealership a check, or do you eat it because Jeep won't cover it due to the mods.

Just look at the warranty denials that happen with a fully stock Jeep, or even one that's only lifted, even properly.

There's a lot of what-ifs here.

That’s the gray area — Jeep covers what’s untouched, AMW covers the swap, but when electronics or driveline overlap, it can turn into finger-pointing. If you go through a partner dealer, they usually smooth it out with AMW, but out of state at a random dealer you might end up eating some costs.

There we go - wasn't sure how to get across, but you figured it out. That's what I wondered.
But if you can do or want the swap - I guess you'd be prepared for all of that.
