Long Range America Aux Fuel Tank

I’ve had a LRA Aux Fuel tank for 2 yrs. As soon as it was installed I would smell fuel under the truck after filling both tanks. Found out today the Aux tank design does not mesh well with the Charcoal Evap Fuel Cannister. The Jeep tech related that I need to look in to replacing the filler next to a dual filler neck so I can fill each tank separately. Currently the filler is a single filler neck, you fill up the OEM fuel tank , once it is full it basically overfills and starts to fill the Aux tank. Only problem is , once you overfill the OEM tank it will fill your Evap Cannister full of fuel. So my question is anyone on here find a work around? Thanks

Sorry to hear there are issues. Sounds like you need to find out how good LRA's customer service is to help find a viable solution.

There are a couple guys that have that setup and had it for a while, “Smlobox” is one of them perhaps reach out on DM, perhaps your install is not 100% correct…..Jack
