I have an AMP research bed extender and I love the storage area it creates when it’s folded into the bed. It’s great when I go shopping and have a couple items and I don’t want them rolling around. The problem is the AMP research bed extender isn’t foldable so I find myself taking out a lot and not putting it back it. So A) I would love a foldable bed extender that I could fold up and leave in the bed when I’m not using it B) I was thinking some kind of webbing \ cloth based bed system that can hold say 2 bags of groceries in the bed but easily unhook and stow easily when I don’t need it.
Any ideas or suggestion would be appreciated.

I made the bed divider suggested in the owner's manual:
Two 2x4s cut to fit the notches provided in my bed liner
stacked on top of each other.
One more 2x4 across the fender notches
and the half open position tailgate
supports 4x8 sheets of whatever.
When not in use the 2x4s can be stowed in the bed lengthwise
to make room for longer or larger items.
Mine lean against the wall in the garage
ready to be deployed if needed.

Here is a thread about the idea.

I'm thinking about getting a ready ramp for this. I really like Curt's solution with a fold down gate, but they don't make it for midsized trucks yet.

I've been eyeballing some UTV bed extenders. I've found some that are 50 inch that just might work. They also provide a swing out or fold down gate to make loading things easier.

I have a bed slide so it needs to be something light and easy to get out the way.

I love the idea of the 2x8. I think I am going to make some version of this. Thanks. Is anyone using any kind of cargo net with this?
