when I transport my dog, a Great Pyrenees, I fold up the back seats for space and stability and to make it easier for him to hop in and out instead of the long jump to the seat. We plan on getting steps, but he seems to enjoy the ride the way it is (perfect window height).

I took out the stick storage bin that’s under the seat for floor space, but it exposes 3 metal humps where the container bolts in. I hadn’t been able to find anything yet, but I could easily be missing it, but looking for floor mats that cover not just where feet would be, but all the way under the seat. Thanks!

Does that replace the whole flooring? Like pull up carpet and put that down? I’m more so looking for something to go over the carpeting

Not providing a solution, but a fellow Great Pry owner. Great breed. Mine loves riding in either Jeep.

100%. This is our first one. Got him at 12 weeks old. He’s gonna be 6 this year 😭. Best dog I ever. He used to love getting in and sitting in the front seat of my challenger. Then the back of my charger. Getting him used to the jump in the gladiator

He is a handsome fellow. It looks like he is loving life and a great Jeep dog. How much does he weigh? And I love the color of your Jeep. I have a total of 8 rescues, but now down to four. The other four lived long lives. My Great Pry is my favorite of all. I have had her for 2 years. We fostered her for a young lady that could not keep her any longer due to her financial situation and gave her a forever home. She is super sweet and too smart for me, lol. And STUBBORN! She is very protective of her little sisters and has saved my wife's little one from predators a couple of times. She is about to turn 5.

Both of my Jeeps are lifted. She can jump in in out, but I did not want to put any strain on her joints. I have found some steps that works well with both Jeeps. The Gladiator is a difficult fit because of the narrow rear door opening, but the steps work since I can prop it on the side bars. I do not think it will work on your truck, but it might. I need to check the dims again.

Lastly, I had a 2014 Silverado before the Jeep, I found a floor mat that filled 100% of the rear floor that was custom molded and came up to the door seals. I will look up the info to see if that have something for the Gladiator.

My Gladiator backseat is deleted and for about 95% of the driving miles, occupied by two big dogs. Replacing the carpet with Armorlite floor is one of the best things I’ve done. All the fur just brushes and vacuums out, doesn’t mat up and stick under the floormats and crevasses…

The metal humps that the underseat tray mount to, those end up about level with the Armorlite surface. I can send some pics if it’s helpful

He is roughly 100 pounds give or take 2 depending on the day, so on the slimmer side, but healthy. He isnt fixed so thats probably why hes still slim. We had been waiting since he has inherited cataracts to do the surgery for that and the neuter in one go under one anesthesia.

He isnt a big jumper, hes always hesitant. I have step bars being ordered today and its stock height and dont really plan to change that. Right now I fold up the back seats which gives him the most room to jump up and plus its perfect sitting window height for him LOL and hes not wobbly on the back seats. I almsot want to remove them entirely as I dont even know whos going to sit back there LOL.

Im also ordering a 4 step dog step for him today as well and taking off the door checks to make things easier. We have the wrangler for him to get into easier if need be, its more of in case of emergencies as I work from home and if I need to get him in the gladiator, how do i make that easier and less stressful.

He has been the best dog i have ever had. His name is Boris. He was a grief puppy for my wife after our 12 year old lab passed from Cancer in 2020. He has literally been the best thing that has ever happened to us.

That would be great. I am thinking of deleting the backseats as tbh. IDK who would ever get back there anyway. Its just me and the wife and 2 dogs. My parents come and visit every summer but no way my mom is getting in the back and we have the wrangler for that anyway which has way more room and the seats are slightly larger anyway.

Right now I just fold the seats up and that gives him good room, just not turning room ( hes incredibly long and lanky). Can the armorlite just go on top of the carpet? I just dont think I really want to pull everything out and put new flooring in, but I guess it would give me a reason to put sound deadener in.
